Research shows that making significant lifestyle changes with the support of your significant other and/or children makes sustainable, long-term change much more likely.

Many of my clients that have partners or families find that making lifestyle changes without the participation of their significant other and/or children can make the process more difficult – it can also mean twice the amount of shopping, meals and preparation.

Furthermore, children are sicker than they ever have been – children in the UK have the highest rates of Type 2 Diabetes than anywhere else in Europe. Educating the whole family can not only improve your health but also your children’s – setting the tone for the rest of their lives and decreasing the risk that they will face a chronic health condition.

This service is available in your own home – should this be helpful or from a location to suit, as well as online.

Investment:

£290 per 90-minute session (up to 4 people)

Generalist nutrition and health advice is outdated, it is now understood that every individual is different and that every body responds differently to certain foods.

Furthermore, we do not promote ‘quick fixes’, sustainable change takes time therefore a commitment of two months coaching is required, consisting of four initial sessions:

First Session:      

Health Consultation session where we discuss your goals, details of your current diet and lifestyle, background and overall health concerns – this is a highly detailed fact-finding process which provides the information needed in order to create an action plan (60-90 minutes)

Second session:   

Action Plan time! This is where I offer you my thoughts, providing educational materials and scientific research and presenting options for us to co-create a sustainable action plan. This takes place around a week after the first session (60 minutes)

Third Session:         

Two weeks later. We review what’s been working for you (and what hasn’t) and assess overall how you have been getting on with the agreed plan. At this stage we can adjust if needed and/or use further tools to address any issues. Support and accountability offered throughout! (60 minutes)

Fourth Session:       

Three weeks later. We will review if the original goals have been achieved and agree on a strategy forwards – for some this is further coaching on other goals and/or continued support and an accountability partner (60 minutes)

Following on from the initial block of four, additional sessions are optional for as long as you feel you need the coaching in order to achieve the goals set, to look at other goals and/or just for support.

Investment:

£350 for first four sessions

£105 per session thereafter

Mental health, 'burnout' and general wellbeing in the workplace is vital to the productivity and health of your team. However, many 'wellbeing' programmes don't address nutrition - which underpins both mental and physical health (the two being intrinsically linked). Our coaching looks at both nutrition as well as other health factors. 

Work-related stress is a major cause of occupational ill health and poor productivity. This often means increased sickness absence, high staff turnover and poor performance in the organisation as well as possible increases in accidents due to human error. Work-related stress could also manifest as heart disease, back pain, headaches, gastrointestinal disturbances or various other illnesses; as well as psychological effects such as anxiety and depression, loss of concentration and poor decision making.

Mental health problems have an impact on employers and businesses directly through increased absenteeism, negative impact on productivity and profits, as well as an increase in costs to deal with the issue. In addition, they impact employee morale adversely.

Prior to running Recalibrate Nutrition + Wellness , I have over 20 years’ experience in the Corporate world, mentoring and coaching those at all levels, all the way from Graduate to Board level. 

I now offer Corporate Nutrition and Wellness Coaching to teams, departments and businesses in order to help them get the most from their valued people.

The use of a Constant Glucose Monitor can be a great tool in order to give you a window into how your body personally reacts to certain foods – enabling you to lower your blood glucose levels and therefore risk of Metabolic diseases such as Type 2 Diabetes, Alzheimer’s  (often referred to as Type 3 diabetes in health circles), NAFLD (non alcoholic fatty liver disease) and Heart Disease as well as various Cancers.

£105.00               per 60 minute session

Please note the CGM itself is purchased externally and you will need to purchase this at a cost of £50 for 14 days data. You will also need a smartphone for the app to access the data.
